The college building is not only modern in its structure but also very attractive, eye-catching. It has a conducive environment. The college building consists of eighteen lecture rooms; five Science Laboratories, Principal's Office, Conference Hall, Staff Room, Accounts Office, Gymnasium, Library, Audio Visual Room, Playground and a beautiful Mosque. The entire complex encompasses an area of about 4½ acre of land.

a) ADMINISTRATIVE BLOCK The block consists of:

Academic Block consists of eighteen class rooms, each class has a capacity to accommodate approximately 80 students. The classrooms are well furnished and equipped with other requisites. The classrooms are spacious, sunny and well ventilated where the students feel comfortable in this learning environment.

There are five science laboratories in the college which are fully equipped with latest requisites for Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany and Computer. The students are given ample chances to do experimental work individually. Overhead projectors are used for presentations.

Books play vital role in the mental growth of students. College library contains thousands of books on various subjects. The students can borrow books through library cards during their library periods and increase their knowledge and quench their thirst for knowledge. Library rules and regulations are displayed prominently on the notice board which are supposed to be followed by all. Reference section is of special importance that contains valuable books, encyclopedias and biographies. The library books are coded according to the latest Dewey Decimal Classification System. The computerized classification is a unique feature of this library which facilitates the students in utilizing it.

The college complex has a modern gymnasium / auditorium which is well equipped. Auditorium is used for holding various cocurricular activities.

“Healthy body keeps a healthy mind”. For this purpose college has a lush green and spacious playground, surrounded by shady trees and colourful flowers.

There is a hygienically cleaned cafeteria where students can have soft drinks, snacks and other eatables at reasonable price.

Audio/Visual Aids play a vital role in effective learning process. The college has an Audio Visual Room where science and other informative documentaries are shown.

A very beautiful and elegant mosque has been built for the religious observance. Juma and Eid prayers are the salient feature of the Jamia Mosque.


Tameer-i-Nau Public College, Quetta was established in July 1985. It is the fruit of untiring efforts of a group of dedicated, sincere and education lovers who felt the need of quality education compatible with the teachings of Islam. It is purely a social welfare non-commercial educational institution, governed by Tameer-i-Nau Trust Balochistan, Quetta. The renowned religious and educational scholar. This institution is well known for its discipline, academic record and extra-curricular activities. We are grateful to Almighty Allah that He has bestowed the reward of our ceaseless efforts.

in a way that the very first batch from this college secured top positions in F.Sc exams. Since then this institution has been showing excellent results not only in academic field but also in extra-curricular activities.


  1. The Federal Ministry of Education, Islamabad has awarded this college with “The Certificate of Merit and Excellence” declaring it five times as the best College of Balochistan.
  2. The Tameer-i-Nau Public College has achieved the awards of “Best College”, “Best Principal” and “Best Students” for the year 2003 from Balochistan Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education, Quetta.

Admissions are given purely on the merit basis. The following procedure is followed for different departments.

The students obtaining at least 55% marks in matriculation examinations are eligible to apply for admission. They have to apply on a prescribed application form (attached with the prospectus) within the stipulated period given in the advertisement.
The data of eligible candidates is fed into computer and the required merit list is prepared by computer system according to the marks obtained by the candidates. The final list is displayed on the notice board. The selected candidates have to appear for interview before the admission committee. The students are required to bring the following documents at the time of interview:
1. Provisional Certificate.
2. Detail Marks Sheet
3. Local / Domicile Certificate

A separate procedure for admission has been adopted for the students of Tameer-i-Nau High School and Tameer-i-Nau Model School Quetta.

B.COM CLASSES: The students securing at least 50% marks in F.A/F.Sc/I.Com exam are eligible to apply for admission. Admissions are exclusively on merit basis. The selected candidates are required to bring the following documents at the time of interview.
1. Provisional Certificate.
2. Detail Marks Sheet
3. Local / Domicile Certificate

Discipline is the first and foremost priority of every educational institute.
1. The students are required to maintain discipline at all cost.
2. They must come to college in proper and neat uniforms. The students must have college identity cards with them during college hours.
3. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the college premises.
4. Weapons are not allowed in the college premises.
5. No student unions or organizations are allowed. Political activities of any sort are strictly prohibited.
6. The students must not involve themselves in malpractices.
7. Punctuality and regularity must be observed.
8. The use of mobile phones in not allowed in the classrooms.

The students are required to attend the college regularly and punctually. The name of the student will be struck off the college role if he remains absent for six days. Such student might be re-admitted after the payment of Rs.500/- as penalty. A student will not be re-admitted if his name is struck off twice. Only those students are allowed to appear in the intermediate and B.Com examinations who fulfil the requirement of 75% attendance in accordance with the decision of Balochistan High Court.
